Sravanabelagola - Belur - Halebid シュラヴァナベルゴラ - ベルール - ハーレービード

During my stay at Mysore, I made a day trip to three other small cities nearby, Sravanabelagola, Belur and  Halebid.

So I woke up at 4:45 to head to Sravanabelagola, a Jain temple standing on the top of the hill. So much impact of this huge statue that one cannot forget this once s/he sees.

朝4:45起きで、まずはシュラヴァナベルゴラという、丘の上にそびえ立つジャイナ教寺院へ。一度見たら忘れられないインパクトのある巨大な石像です。

He is on the top of this hill, more than 600 uneven steep steps to climb up with barefoot!! It was so high and very scared to look down...

彼はこの丘の上にいます。600段以上の高さのバラバラな急な階段を裸足で登った先に!! 高くて後ろを振り返るのが怖かったです。

But you can see this beautiful view on your way step up/down to/from the temple, which was amazing!!(my photo is not really good to convey its beauty)

でも、こんな素敵な景色が寺院までの階段で見られます。写真では伝えきれませんが、素晴らしかったです。

The below is Chennakeshava temple in Belur. 

ベルールのチャナケーシャヴァ寺院。

It was a quite small temple but it is so impressing that the stones are unbelievably finely carved!! The entire building is carved. It’s difficult to focus on one specific spot to take a photo.

小さなお寺でしたが、信じられないくらい繊細な彫刻が、石にほどこされていることに感動でした。建物全体に彫刻がほどこされていて、フォーカスしきれませんでした。

The last destination of the day was Helebid.

最後の目的地、ハーレービード。

A Jain temple, Hoysaleshwara Temple, inside which were some Nandis- I made a wish to her ear.

ジャイナ教のホイサレーシュワラ寺院。中にはいくつかのナンディー像があったので、彼女の耳に願いを囁きました。

The temple is sorrounded by many scriptures and a pleasant garden.

お寺は、沢山の彫刻と素敵な庭に囲まれていました。

There was a small temple almost 2min. car ride from the temple. Nobody but some neighbor children were there- it was calm and I liked this one much better. Anyway, I saw too many temples and stones over this trip. I think I need a break from watching stones for a while... 

車で2分ほどのところに、もう一つお寺がありました。近所の子供しかおらず、静かで気に入りました。とはいえ、この数日沢山のお寺と石を見たので、暫く休憩が必要です…。
