Hampi-1

Hampi, one of the UNESCO heritage sites of India, was a breathtaking place, although the propeller jet, TruJet, was the nightmare for both ways and spoiled beauty of the trip!!
Remnant of the royal palace- each layer tells its own story.
Step well-beauty of precise design.
Old irrigation system- evoked my imagination of the power, wisdom and hard labour of the period.
This place once used to be the court dancers’ stage- perfect location for dancers.
Because it was Hazarama temple- posing as the god, Rama.
Every heritage has dancers- it has always been a part of people’s life.
The entire temples the stories of Ramayana.
Lotus temple- triveni of Hindu, Islam and Jain cultures.
Elephant stables- the eleven or twelve royal elephants must have enjoyed their luxury life.
Endless line of stone pillars- beyond my imagination! How one could work so hard to build this and for trades under such a burning sunshine.
Feeling so thirsty and almost dying, having waked along the pillars for a long time, and I still cannot stop to pose because of such a beautiful background.
And there is Vitthala Temple- one of the main places to visit. The chariot is the storyteller here.
